Are Coach Bags in Style? And Why You Should Invest In One!

Hey Beauties, welcome back to the blog!

I’m back with another fashion post, and in this blog, we’re going to answer the burning question that I have been asking myself these last few months, Is Coach in Style?

You may not know this, but up until recently, I became a fan of Coach again.

My coach story

I still remember my first ever Coach item. It was a Corner Zip Wristlet in the Signature Canvas that my best friend at the time got me as a Christmas gift. It was a tan, the Coach monogram in burnt orange, and the matching burnt orange strap (I know, right! Me with any color besides neutrals!). But I LOVED that wristlet. It was a perfect size to put cards, cash, and it could fit my iPhone before iPhones weren’t mini tablets.

Fast forward to my collegiate days; I fell out of love with Coach. I felt it to be more mid-range designer level Calvin Klein or Guess. I’m not knocking Calvin Klein or Guess, but at that time, it was not my style. It seemed like something my aunties would be interested in wearing. However, most recently, I fell back in love with Coach after seeing a gorgeous tote my friend was wearing!

Are Coach bags in style?

So, what changed, and is Coach in style? In 2013, Coach got a Creative Director, Stuart Vevers whose worked for designer houses like Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton, and Givenchy, to name a few. He came in and did such a great job at making the brand more relevant while maintaining the brand’s quality and craftsmanship.

Today’s Coach bags, in particular, are made with high-quality in mind while staying modern and chic. Coach bags are very classic, and their designs are perfect for long-term users who like to have capsule wardrobe pieces. And with brand ambassadors like Jennifer Lopez and Michael B. Jordan, the brand has gained immense popularity.

Why you should invest in a Coach bag!

As I mentioned before, Coach bags are made with excellent quality, so you can feel comfortable knowing that you’ll have a bag that has a long shelf life. Coach are also considered luxury if, like me, you prefer to splurge on luxury items. Although they may not be high luxury like Chanel, Gucci, or Louis Vuitton, they are still considered a luxury brand. What’s great about Coach bags are their price. For a luxury bag, you can get a bag under $500, especially if you look at their outlet stores. The outlets’ feature, if not the same by similar bags for up to 65% off the original price!

New coach finds

With all this in mind, I recently picked up a few bags from Coach that I’ve been adoring! The first one is the Flap Belt Bag with Linear Quilting for 65% off at the outlet store’s original price. I got it in the chalk color because you know I love my neutral pieces. It comes with a belt to wear as a belt bag and a gold chain to wear as a crossbody. I will mostly be wearing this as a crossbody, but I like the versatility. I also picked up the matching Card Case with Linear Quilting.

The other bag I purchased in the Coach store when I went in browsing. It’s the Hutton Clutch in the snakeskin pattern on sale 50% off. I love that it has this neutral contrast and the snake feel with the cheetah pattern. It comes with a dark brown chain to wear as a crossbody. It also has a built-in card holder and holds quite a bit.
