Hi Beauties, happy March and Women’s Month! It’s been my wish to start a monthly favorites series on my blog for some time, and for whatever reason, I always seem not to have the time. So, I thought, why not start now in Women’s Month!
Beauty Favorites
I finally got my hands on the popular Chanel hand lotion and a few other Chanel beauty items. I chose to get the Nº5 L’eau, and it smells amazing! It smells just like the iconic Chanel Nº5 fragrance, but it’s a bit lighter, and the lotion is the perfect lightweight hand lotion. This lotion would be better suited for warmer months due to the lightweight texture and feel.
Along with the hand lotion, I had a few more favorites for my skin, and last month my favorite fragrance by far was the Valentino Donna Born in Roma. When I want to smell sweet and make a statement, this is the fragrance I wear. I featured this in my Spring Fragrance Collection on YouTube.
Fashion Favorites
If you follow me on Instagram, you have seen me in this set quite a bit last month, and it’s the set that keeps on GIVING! Wearing this, I felt elegant and sophisticated. I’m wearing both an XS in these, and since I’m petite, I had to roll up the waist so that it would not drag too much on the floor. If you are short like me, I recommend wearing a heel.
Uggs seem to have made a comeback this year, and I’ve been looking high and low for the minis. I was able to find a pair of the Ugg Ultra Mini on Stock X in the Chestnut color.
Tech Favorites
As a content creator who edits photos, YouTube videos, and Instagram Reels/TikTok videos, I invested in the new iPad Mini 6 and Apple Pencil last month. Investing in the iPad has made editing videos that I used to edit on my iPhone so much easier. Not only is the screen larger, but having the pencil makes it easier to edit things instead of using my fingers on a smaller screen precisely.
I have also been using my DSLR more this past month and the 50mm lens to create more Reels and get close-up product shots.
I also upgraded my AirPods 1st generation to the new AirPods 3rd generation. Since I spend a lot of time at coffee shops working, I found that the battery life in my older AirPods would not last longer than 3-4 hours, so it was time to upgrade. I found this cute affordable Burberry-inspired case from Amazon.
Home Favorites
Last month, I started a new habit of planning my weekly menu using this notepad from Amazon. I found that this has helped me to reduce buying excess food. Historically, I’d buy groceries with little planning and end up throwing away produce that went bad. Additionally, I’ve been eating more salads and found that I’ve been using this salad spinner, spiralizer, slicer, and grater from Amazon as well.
I finally decided to give the H&M Home section I tried last month and picked out these geo print pillow covers along with a sandalwood candle. The scent isn’t as strong as I hoped, but it is pretty and matches the current aesthetic in my living room decor.
Since this is my first favorite, I decided to include them all in one post, but I think moving forward, I’ll probably break them up into separate posts and dive deeper into each product/item.
