I’m back with another style post, and I’m so happy to be sharing this post with you all!

As you may know, and if you haven’t, I’m a very petite framed woman, I’m five feet tall, and I’m pretty slim, about 115 pounds currently. So, I have a hard time finding the right pair of trousers. They are always too long, or the waist is too large or, they are too tight, causing me to have a flat butt, which is not the most flattering when it’s clear that it’s too tight. And here on the blog, we never want to wear something that we don’t feel the best.

However, most recently, I found a pair of trousers on ZARA while looking for some spring transition pieces. The model had on the beige trousers, a white button-up silk top, and some nude flats on the website. The look had this comfy casual vibe. I could quickly tell that these were going to be a versatile pair of trousers. So, I went ahead, and I ordered a taupe brown color because I thought that it would be a great color to have since I already have a few black pants.

How does it fit?

I would say these trousers fit true to size. They are, by far, are the most form-fitting trousers that I have tried. It hugs that waist. It’s high-waisted, perfect for pairing with a cropped top, and the length is more of an ankle-length. But, because I’m petite, it’s a little longer, and having the trousers cuffed and paired with sneakers would make a great comfy, chill look.

What I also really like about these trousers is the way that they accentuate your figure! They hug the waist so well that it shows off your butt in the most flattering an elegant way. I would argue that anyone who wears this would have a great-looking butt. And who doesn’t want to show off their curves?

What is the material breakdown?

The trousers are made out of polyester (72%), viscose (22%), and elastane (6%). However, the pants’ composition is mostly from polyester, the mix of viscose, a semi-synthetic type made from rayon fabric. Viscose is used to substitute more expensive materials like silk, which gives these trousers the soft luxurious feel.

How Much Are They?

These trousers retail for under $40. Which I think is worth it for the feel, material, and versatility. These trousers are perfect for creating work, casual, and brunch outfits. They are perfect for the everyday look when you want to switch out of jeans and elevate your look.

The Complete Look

I styled these trousers with an off-white knit turtleneck from H&M, a tan pea coat from Zara, a black trapezoid shared bag and these beautiful Chanel slingbacks from Marc Fisher. For the second style, I switched to a black pea coat for some variety and added this slim belt from Target.
