Hey Beauties, welcome back to the blog!
I’m back with another post, and in this post, we’re going to be tapping into my romantic side because we’ll be talking about all things Valentine’s Day.
What is Valentine’s Day?
Valentine’s Day, known as Saint Valentine’s Day, is celebrated on February 14 annual to celebrate romance and love commercially. As a feminine and romantic person, I love all things Valentine’s Day, from flowers, chocolates, dates, and outfits (of course)!
In this post, we’re going to breakdown my favorite Valentine’s Day outfits, fragrances, and gifts.
Valentine’s Day Outfit Ideas
When I think of Valentine’s Day date night outfits, I usually think of looks with pinks, reds, black, and white. I typically prefer to wear dresses and skirts. If you’re not into dresses, then a nice pair of pants paired with a cute feminine blouse would be a great alternative.
My favorite Valentine’s Day outfit for a dinner date shown below is a red form-fitting bandage dress, nude pumps, and a bag.
This dress says, “Will you be my Valentine?” It has a flattering mermaid shape with one shoulder detail and asymmetrical ruffles at the bottom. Surprisingly this dress is from SHEIN but looks and feels like something from House of CB for more than half the price of a typical House of CB dress.
While the dress is inexpensive, the accessories are more on the high-end side. The shoes from Christian Louboutin are the Jumping 100mm, which is WAY more comfortable than the So Kates. (comment below if you’d like a review on these)
The bag from Louis Vuitton, it’s the Pochette Felicie in the monogram. It comes in different colors as well as different prints. For this look I chose to wear it as a clutch.
For jewelry, I kept is simple with my bracelet and watch from MVMT both in Rose Gold.

Fragrances perfect for valentine’s Day
When I think of Valentine’s Day fragrances, I think of sweet, floral, warm, spicy, and sensual scents. Below are my favorites Valentine’s Day fragrances.
Good Girl (Eau de Parfum) — Carolina Herrera
I remember when I first saw this fragrance at Macy’s. It was the bottle that caught my eye. The bottle is in the shape of a shoe similar to the Christian Louboutin So Kates.
When I smell this fragrance, it reminds me of something I’d wear to an intimate dinner with my husband if I were married. It smells very sensual and yet warm. I would wear this fragrance with a little black dress, black red bottoms, a black fur coat, and the YSL black medium Sunset bag to a winter evening date night.
Fragrance Family: Floral
Scent Type: Warm Florals
Key Notes: Tuberose, Jasmine, Tonka Bean
Peony & Blush Suede — Jo Malone
This fragrance is the ultimate floral scent. It smells sweet, fresh, and light, the perfect perfume for daytime dates. Be mindful that this fragrance does not hold well in colder climates, so layering is a must.
When I smell this, the outfit that comes to mind is an all-white embroidered dress with some cute open-toe sandals matching French manicures and pedicures perfect for a brunch date, picnic, or shopping date.
Fragrance Family: Floral
Scent Type: Classic Florals
Key Notes: Red Apple, Peony, Suede
Lipstick Forever (Eau de Parfum) — Juliette Has a Gun
This fragrance is another one from the floral family; however, the iris gives a kick of spicy, sensual scents.
This would be another excellent scent for colder climates, and something I’d wear with this would be some skinny black pants, a peplum blouse, simple makeup with a red lip.
Fragrance Family: Floral
Scent Type: Powdery Florals
Key Notes: Raspberry, Violet, Iris
Noir de Noir (Eau de Parfum) — Tom Ford
“Noir de Noir is dark, sexy, and indulgent. Yin collides with Yang featuring black rose, black truffle and patchouli for an intense, sensual awakening.”—TOM FORD
Tom Ford said it best, so I had to leave that quote there, but this fragrance is Valentine’s Day in a bottle with hints of rose, truffle, and vanilla. It’s the perfect scent for romance. If you’re starting with TF fragrances, Noir de Noir is an excellent first step to other fragrances like the TF Black Orchid because TF fragrances are an acquired taste.
Fragrance Family: Warm & Spicy
Scent Type: Warm & Sweet Gourmands
Key Notes: Saffron, Vanilla, Patchouli
Nomade (Eau de Parfum) — Cholé
This is another sweet floral fragrance. It’s very feminine, soft, and alluring. If you’re looking for a little more spice, try the new Absolu, it’s more earthy and woodsy.
A perfect outfit to pair with this would be a flowy floral dress or a pink dress —nothing too tight but something that still shows off the figure with a barely-there nude heel, a minimal matching bag, and gold accessories.
Fragrance Family: Floral
Scent Type: Warm Floral
Key Notes: Oakmoss, Freesia, Mirabelle Liquor
