I’ve been on the hunt for a winter trench coat, one that is chic, minimal, and a bit oversized for layering…and I think I found it! I recently decided to look on Boohoo’s website, and I found this coat on sale for $46, originally $116! By using my Uniday’s student discount of 5% off and utilizing Rakten’s 3% cashback benefit, I ended up only paying approximately $43!

Once I tried this one, I fell in love instantly! It’s oversized, and although the sleeves are a bit big, it does come with buttons to adjust them. It comes with pockets and a belt for a synched waist. The quality of this coat is impeccable, considering that it is 100% Polyester! It has the dogtooth style patterning, making it the perfect pairing for an all-black monochromatic look. If you follow me on Instagram, you know how much I love a monochrome outfit, especially an all-black one. I love how wearing one color can instantly elevate a look.

With the coat, I wore a cable knit sweater with a mock turtleneck and faux leather leggings, from H&M. The leggings have a mix of faux leather and cloth detailing.

For accessories, I choose faux leather boots from Lulus because the faux leather texture and shine is nearly identical to the leggings, giving the illusion that they are all one. I also choose a beret and this trapezoid bag from SheIn, but I wore more like a waist bag to give that Parisian/European look.

Lastly, to keep things consistent, I wore gold and black jewelry to match the gold hardware both on the boots and the bag.
